I wish we had half stars cuz I’d give it 2.5. Got the Reuben, not much meat. Rather than frying it on a cooktop, it was toasted and bread was extremely dry and crusty – had to chip it off to try and enjoy the rest of it. The African soup, I was hoping for kind blowing flavours, and it was just okay. Mac and cheese was bland and lacked cheese flavour. And friend said egg salad was medeocre at best. Sorry, just wasn’t mind blown.
I’ve been here for their pastries and it was really good. Their macarons were delicious and had the right perfect crunch and softness to it. I also tried their almond croissant, which was really cute and round (only round almond croissant I’ve seen in town), and it was delicious as well. I just wished that their almond croissant had a stronger almond filling. Reasonably priced and delicious desserts! I would have to come back and try their actual meals in the future.
