Understaffed, inaccurate & slow service. Had to wait to for 30 minutes for 1 rollcake that we ordered. Some customers were served before others. Asked for a refund for our order as they took longer than initially informed.
The interior of the place was great, cool looking chairs, good lighting and space efficient. I wouldn’t say that it was the best eggfle that I’ve had but it wasn’t that bad. The egg waffle was crunchy which I liked the ice cream was okay. However, I find it a bit too expensive for a two topping dessert egg waffle. Maybe one more topping will do magic. The matcha japanese cheesecake was alright, although it wasn’t as fresh as I was wanting it to be. The thickness of the cheesecake was ok but the texture is a bit too rough. The taste was okay, it wasn’t really a wow factor though. I do admire the workers tho, they we’re friendly. I would come back sometime to give it another shot!
Our visit here was good. ordered the Mangolicious. it was great! a must try because its only seasonal. ordered the vanilla and matcha ice cream eggfle. it was good too! their bubble tea isn’t your normal bubble tea as it was watery with iced cubes. not the typical bubble tea ice blended drink that you buy from Asia City. overall we enjoyed our stay. Clean tables, well maintained washrooms and friendly staff.
Tried the Japanese Cheesecake and Matcha Madness Eggfle.Matcha Madness Eggfle- it was good but nothing special. My eggfle was overcooked it was hard to eat and didn’t really taste like matcha. Didn’t finish the whole thing. I paid around $7.99 and might be good for two people if you’re not so hungry. Japanese Cheesecake- was so excited to try this because I heard it’s usually sold out and really popular. And I’ve seen a lot of posts on Instagram about Japanese cheesecake getting popular in Asia and lately in Toronto and Vancouver. I would say it didn’t live up to my expectations. I ordered the original and matcha ones and they were just ok. I liked it because it’s not too sweet but the texture was kinda dry especially for the matcha one which was crumbling so it was messy to eat. $3.98 per sliceOverall, the place is clean and good customer service, nice atmosphere and relaxing.I would still come back and try their other menu.
We came here last week and I was excited to try the eggfles for the first time and visit the new location. My friend did the build your own and I got the mangolicious eggfle. It was okay but the mango ice cream had a very fake taste and the eggfle itself tasted like a wet dog and was kind of gross so I couldn’t finish it. I might come back and try a matcha one though or their cheesecakes. It was close to $11 which I found a bit expensive
Honestly so good every time I come here. Staff is pleasant and knowledgable about the menu. Always clean and tidy. Worth the price for dessert. Will for sure come back 🙂
