This place is the worst! The owner is horrible and doesnt trust his employees. The food is overpriced and their sangria is a premixed 7%! The turnover rate there is so bad, the longest lasting employee is 6 months! Otherwise John the owner is just cancelling employees shifts without telling them, and just taking them off the schedule for no reason! I think the place is going under because its always empty and managers are always pushing employees to sell sell sell … to their 2 customers! Sigh!
I was just here last night for the first time in a long time and contrary to my previous visits, I had an overall excellent experience from 8pm until almost 2am. Our server Sara checked in on us regularly so we were never without drinks or water. Kudos to the guys behind the bar who never kept us waiting long, even though the lounge was full. Sara also efficiently cleared our empty plates and glasses so they didnt pile up on the table.As to the food, I ordered the gyro pita platter which Ive had before and it was tasty as usual. They gave a huge portion of both fries and Greek salad which I could barely finish. The fries were a bit saltier than Im used to, but thats a minor thing and I still ate half of them. The others at my table were happy with their food as well, all of which came out quickly (chicken fettuccine al fredo, bruschetta, pickerel, chicken souvlaki).In the past (as recently as two years ago), the lounge would add a $1 entertainment charge on karaoke nights, which they never used to do. I remember seeing this once on my receipt and thought it was total garbage, so Im pleased that it no longer exists. Last night I spent $43.50 before taxes on my meal, drinks for myself, and one for my friend who was celebrating his birthday. The extra $1 on top of it, while fairly harmless, would have just been insulting and unnecessary.I understand why this place got such low ratings and negative reviews as I had the same experiences in the past, but based on last night, I have to give them a positive review. Well done!
Less than mediocre food that is completely overpriced. I gave it a 1 because 0 isnt an option. Can we all agree to stop going here so its forced to close?
I was here on a date and this place sucked. Service was crap. Was charged for 2 coffees only ordered one. The guy I was with was told a price for a beer and when the bill came was charged a different price. Server didn’t seem to care. There was some kind of karaoke thing going on. Was neat but no need to go back.
What a sh$% hole. Thought we’d go here for my Mom’s bday and enjoy the open air and warm weather on the deck. This place opened in /89 and you can tell by viewing the outside atmosphere. Our waitress was a complete moron, nothing was right. Mom ordered a caesar with vodka and they brought her drink made with gin, the pop was watered down to the point it was blatantly obvious and they charge 3 bucks each with no free refills for a glass of ice and maybe 1/2 can of water coke. The fettuccine sauce on my daughters fettuccine was sweet and gross, my 11 yr old son and my dad shared a pizza in which the little guy expected his half to be just cheese..fail again. The pizza came fully with what my dad had wanted on his half, they gave us 10% off for that f@%k up, which worked out to 1.90. How does that make sense when they screwed up 1/2 a pie… gramps ordered salmon and instead of a piece of fish laying on top of his salad they diced it all up and tossed with the salad…..jesus. your paying top dollar to basically sit on Corydon. Definitely not worth it
Wow. Horrible service. Lady with blond curly hair is so rude and should not be in hospitality! Wouldn’t recommend. Location is definitely the only thing this restaurant has!
Went there last weekend, highlight of the night had to be the music. Nice atmosphere as well but had an incident that the management did not handle very well. Only thing that saved my night had to be the patio and the music!
