Tried Sis & Me for the first time last week. I got a regular hamburger (because of all the hype people have been building up I was expecting the best burger ever) and chilli fries. Burger was alright, nothing spectacular about it. My gf had a bacon cheeseburger, and nothing I haven’t tried before. The fries however are really good with the flavourful chilli and the cheese was melted perfectly. I’d definitely go again for fries but that’s about it.
I haven’t tried their other menu yet besides from their poutine. I really liked their poutine the first time I’ve tried it so I went back and bought some again. For $6 something, I think it was definitely worth it. Their fries are sweet and holds up well with the gravy. Love it! 🙂
Good Burger, Home-made ??????EHHHH. Today I had a cheeseburger with fried onions, they offer topping to for to to add yourself. They include relish, ketchup, mustard, raw onions, and sour krout… The service was fast and friendly, prices were very affordable…. The meat pattie was a little small for the large fresh bun. It left me wondering is this was hand made or a store bought meat puck…… Either way. it was good, and I would recommend for a fast affordable lunch…… I must still try the fries, they looked amazing………
Lacking. I tried the offerings of this truck and would not return. The menu is quite large by food truck standards. Everything from burgers and dogs to fries and pulled pork.I tried the foot long combo and found the hot dog to be overcooked, very dry and nearly devoid of flavour. It came with a soft drink and a small bag of chips for $6.25. While I liked the price, I didn’t like the hot dog. There are far better choices along Broadway.
Great Poutine!. I’d overlooked this truck for a while, but not any more!While most of the trucks I’ve had fries or poutine from serve quite soft, often mushy fries, Sis & Me’s fries are nice and crispy, and hold up well under the gravy.Very good, and I’m looking forward to trying more of their offerings.
