Not bad! Wings were good enough. Thursday – busyday.
This place has never been busier after the renovations andthe newly opened patio. We usually come here for Sunday brunch (breakfast lunch)and it has always been good. Service is fast and friendly. My only side comments at this placeis they will serve you coffee without a teaspoon to stir your coffeeand they all havethe cutlerybut the teaspoon.You have to call the attention of the server and ask for it and this happened every time we were there. At times we can’t wait for theteaspoon sowe have to use the fork or spoon.How could you miss a teaspoon when you’re serving coffee all the time??Overall, good place to go for breakfast.
Out of all the Smitty’s in the city (must admit, I’ve been to a few in my lifetime) this one is the best. They allow minors, first of all, which is great if I want to take my chicken-wing-loving-brother on a food trip. You do not need to go to the bar to do a wing night special.For some reason they get their lemon pepper wings right. Other places do it badly, but this place their wings have the lemon tang to their wings. Hot wings are deeeelish.
Average at best. Not that I’ve ever expected to be wowed by Smitty’s but I can’t help leaving with a solid ‘enh?’ feeling each time I go. And, to boot, I’ve never paid for any of my meals here. I only go when an uncle from out of town takes the grandparents and family. If I had to pay for my own meal I wouldn’t pay this place the time. The only thing that I’ve had here that was tasty enough was the chicken quesadilla but, honestly, how could you even screw that up?I’ve never had horrible services, in fact, most of the time the wait staff are very polite and I appreciate that. Maybe not fantastic, but politeness and manners make up for a lot.Food is overpriced for the quality, flavour, and all else, but I suppose reasonably priced for the portions.
65th birthday celebration. Everything was perfect. We were a group of 80 and booked the lounge. Dave and his staff were great. The food was excellent. Very reasonably priced. Thanks Dave for a wonderful evening.
This place is so trendy and cool and awesome. I go there for cheap wings, Deepfried pickles and smashing piggies on the VLTS. Affordable pitchers…..definitely underated. Smittys is the place to be ppl!!
