Love the Reuben! Get it every time I come in. Sandwich with small soup and canned drink is roughly $13. A large menu and variety of soups make it difficult to choose one thing! Staff is nice although a little pushy as soon as you walk in. Soup favourites include: cream of perogy and French onion. Wish some of the other soups were thicker as cream of mushroom is so thin.

Service is amazing. Ive tried the BBQ pulled pork and pesto, chicken & feta paninis and hey were both delicious. Potato salad and french onion soup were also good.

Nothing too special, but it’s a great place for a cheap, quick lunch.I’m always surprised by how quickly the line goes down, so don’t worry if you see a long line up at lunch time. The soups are often hit and miss, but they do make them in-house, so try them but I’ve had about a 50% successful track record with them. They also cater events which I have also had a couple times. Pretty decent and the ingredients are fresh and well assembled.

I have been going here off and on for years now, even back to when I was in post secondary. Consistent, well prepared food with great flavour too. You have to get there early in peak seasons because all the best soups will be gone by 1pm. Great little downtown eatery with friendly helpful staff.

When I saw the portion size of the small Cesar salad that I ordered, I was shocked. It was about the size of a handful of lettuce. And when I asked for chicken, the lady preparing the salad took out a THIN chicken breast, and cut it in HALF and put that amount on the salad. I also received a quarter slice of a pickle. For this I paid $10.57!!!!! Almost ELEVEN DOLLARS for a handful of lettuce and croutons. The half chicken breast alone cost almost $3. Far too expensive in my opinion. I could go down the street and find the same or similar items for the same quality, and far less expensive. I went on the website before visiting, and the prices there were less than in store. Needless to say, I won’t be visiting here again.

Hidden Gem. Almost missed this place – not a frequent downtowner. What a treat. Clean room, friendly staff, fresh and tasty food (fruit and chicken wrap … yum!). Will definitley be back and will be recommending to family and friends.
