Usually a fan of this place. But the disgusting comments made about customers had my blood boiling. Very very rude place. Will never come here again.…

Went here with a group of friends for all you can eat for lunch. This place was a decision between here and magic sushi, and I am very glad we went here instead. There seemed to be a lot of options for all you can eat lunch, and the price seemed okay. I like how the server would bring our orders as it was made (we would order between our group 6-8 things at once, and receive them half the order at a time as they made it) so we did not go long periods without food. However this did make it hard to gauge how much food to order, as we did forget about how we ordered a roll or two that came out later. The quality of sushi seemed quite good, however rolls with wasabi seemed to never have enough wasabi in them, and we were never given enough wasabi or ginger with our food. Towards the end of our meal it seemed like our orders were taking longer to come out; I am not sure if this was the establishment trying to limit how much we ate or if they were trying to convince us to leave, but it was noticeably slower and no more patrons were entering the restaurant it seemed.
Came here for all you can eat, and needless to say it was disappointing. Multiple items we ordered were just never brought out, and it took a very long time to receive our food, even the sashimi. Service was poor. Overall not worth the price, there is far better all you can eat places!
Great option for those who want all you can eat sushi/japanese food and don’t want to trek all the way down pembina (IGI). REALLY good beef short ribs, I could justify the all you can eat price alone if they would let me order a whole plate. The sushi is very good for all you can eat, but the sushi rice is not as soft/fresh as other restaurants. The sashimi is amazing as well…
I work in another sushi restaurant but my school is so close to this restaurant so I come here once in a while. First off, you shouldn’t come here to get a descent service. Working as a server myself, I know how tough it can be to work as a server but the way servers here treat their customers, especially for those having all-you-can-eat, is unacceptable. The restaurant environment isn’t clean/sanitary either. As you can see in the photo, you will be eating right by dusty areas. As for the food, the overall quality is okay. If you would like to get your money’s worth, I would suggest all-you-can-eat and order lots and lots of salmon items (although quality of salmon isn’t so good here) as seafood is more expensive compared to vegetable items. Also avoid deep fried items as they use a lot of batter that will fill your stomach up (it is one of their strategies to make customers full). The one and only thing I was pleased about my whole dine-in experience would be the yakitori. All in all, I would not recommend this restaurant.
Good sushi but bad service especially the dude server with the eye glasses so impolite never smile. He doesnt know what customer service means.
First time tried sushi and didnt like at this location at all . But heard its good and friends like it . Don’t order udon it tastes yucky . Happy eating
*UPDATE*Ate here on April 2018 for dinner, the server who greeted us was not very friendly. We mentioned that we were not going to do an all you can eat menu, but by the time we were about to pay we were supposed to be charged for an all you can eat. Good thing they ‘noticed’ that we did not eat as much and we had to tell them again that we stated that we’re not getting an all you can eat in the first place. Plus, the server was very rude and seemed like she doesn’t like her job! I think they need to re-train or hire better people at this place since I made a review years ago about their poor service and it did not get better. It’s a pricey place to eat if you’re not going to do an all you can eat. The sushi are mediocre in taste for me and their shrimp and vegetable tempura seemed to be too oily for me. There are days that the staff are happy, but most of the time they’re not. It’s a good place to eat out with friends/family who likes sushi and all you can eat.
