Great place to watch the game. Great place to come watch the game, there’s tons of TV’s and they have a great atmosphere when its busy. I like their wings, I wish they would include lemon pepper in the future. Service was really nice and attentive. the manager ended up honoring an old promise to which the employee was no longer there or had any record of it, she took our drinks off the bill and that was a great surprise. Had the baby calamari and nachos; it was the feature of the night and you got the choice of add free chicken or beef. The food is generally good and I’ve had other items in different locations.
I have seen some negative reviews about my favourite watering-hole, so I’d like to make some better comments. Firstly, the staff are phenomenal! You can tell they really care about their customers. The food is tasty if you order the right dishes ( the burgers just aren’t the best!) but all the appies are great! They have awesome deals, nightly too! If you have a complaint about something the managers are always more than happy to resolve the issue and very apologetic. Since the new manager started just over a year ago, the staff she’s hired have been awesome and the service has gone from a 6 to a 10! I love going on the weekends whether I sit at the table or at a booth! If you’re looking for a place to have a quiet meal, do not go on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday after 9:30 and certainly not during a Jets game. Come and be friendly to the staff and they will in-turn be friendly to you!
Stopped in for a quick bite, place had only 2 other tables. I could clearly see from where I was sitting that the cook prepared my meal in the microwave. I paid 16.99 for leftovers! The Yorkshire bowl was hard and everything was like the day after a family dinner. Absolutely brutal.
Except for tonight,the service is slow as molasses.The food is mediocre for the prices they charge,and they should automatically give you water.Alot of the waitresses walk around like they’re so special,and this extends to other staff as well.I only go because my gf likes some of the food.Not a place for me.
Came with a group of friends hoping for a fun night out but didn’t receive any service after being seated. We left with empty stomachs and a huge dissatisfaction. Do not recommend at all.
Tavern,,,. This place has the best hotdog in the city right now….it is at least a foot long and smothered in fried onions………
Wow this place sucks. Just had one of the worst meals ever… Time for management to fire the kitchen staff and hire some trained monkeys because they would do a better job. I had a clubhouse… It was served with ice cold garlic mashed potatoes… Needless to say glue would have tasted better. The sandwich was made with seasoned chicken breast and tasted like a #2 pencil eraser. The bread was stale, the tomatoes over ripe, the bacon over cooked and flavourless. My partner had a steak sandwich which was also served with ice cold garlic mashed. Their steak was overlooked and tasteless. In a nut shell do NOT eat in this place EVER… You will regret it.
