A good place for the purpose it serves. I always cab it or take a TappCar to Jets games. The exterior of the building is a disaster immediately following games as people are battling for cabs. Tavern is conveniently connected to the MTS Centre so its easy to slip in, have a beer or two while things calm down outside and then grab a cab to go to another restaurant or home. The convenience this offers earns its 3 stars. The food at Tavern years ago used to be much better. There were mussels on the menu in a white wine and cream sauce that were rather delicious. Those are long gone and basic pub fare remains. The wings arent bad but other items are lacking. The rooftop patio is s great place for drinks in the summer.
