This place really is an old style, charming little gem, you won’t find any other place quite like it. You can’t beat their home style chili burger it is just so good. My friend had the chicken and loved it. Definitely good value for your money, I had no issues with service and the food was delicious!
Good, classic diner. Love the unchanged interior. The prices on the breakfast look like they haven’t changed in an age either. $6 for 2 eggs, 3 strips of bacon, hash browns and toast. The bacon is real fried bacon, not those little strips of microwaved garbage that most places have for breakfast now. The eggs are always done perfectly. Hash browns come with onions. This is the place to go for a hearty breakfast!
North end Charm at it’s finest. Anytime im in the Maples and with someone from the south end, I always make a point of bringing them through. Best hashbrowns in the city
I love their burgers, fries, fried chicken and coleslaw!! I’ve passed that place so many times and just recently tried it and wow. Can’t believe I missed out this long! Small restaurant very outdated but friendly staff and great food!! Definitely going back !
had breakfast there, the hashbrowns were dripping with oil,the cook doesn’t know how to do eggs right. The only thing good was the tomato and toast.not good
Racist place. Servers are Racist !
No complaints here!. Maybe I’m just easy to please, but I don’t understand the bad reviews. I ordered the 1/4lb bacon burger with fries and coleslaw. The HUGE burger was fantastic with the bun hardly able to contain all the accompaniments, making for a 3-napkin job! The fries were crisp and freshly made. The coleslaw was a bit different from what I’m use to but it was alright. Service was friendly and prompt, though we were the only customers in the restaurant between the lunch and supper hours. All things considered, I’m sure I’d be a regular here if they were in my neighbourhood.
