Promising Dessert Food Truck. I saw the colourful truck and decided to give it a try. The bright red makes it hard to miss when parked on the street.I tried the crepe. There are a variety of fillings to choose from. You get to pick any three. They do have some suggested combinations. I tried chocolate mousse, caramel and strawberries. They also put on powdered sugar. I was questioning my decision as I was in suit and tie and worried about the whole thing falling apart on me. Lucky for me, the crisp crepe held up for the duration. The crepe was light and crispy, but it held it’s structure throughout. The fillings are fresh and very tasty. I also tried one of the custard tarts. It reminded me of the egg tart that is available in Hong Kong. A bit crunchy with a slightly overdone top and crust…very tasty. At $2.25, a pretty good bargain. I enjoyed every bite and would not hesitate to try this cart again.

Try it!. I love Tokyo Rabbit – everything I’ve had there so far has been really good. The crepes especially are to die for, and the Katsu Sando was tasty too. Definitely worth trying – I’m telling all of my friends about it.
Very good, you should try it. Tried it today for the first time. – pork cutlet sandwich (katsu sando): pretty thick piece of pork. Together with tonkatsu sauce and the mustard (only a bit spicy), it was delish.- crepe: They are made to order, and you choose what you want inside. I chose green-tea ice cream, banana and chocolate sauce.. fairly conventional order on my part I guess, but it was quite creamy and tasty. The crepe itself was properly made, and wasn’t overdone.- japanese green tea (ocha.. actually sencha style) was iced, and had tons of fresh fragrance and flavour. This is the real deal. Not expensive.Others around me worried that if they don’t add another hot lunch menu item or 2, they might find it hard to continue.. But I’m not sure, I think if I worked on Broadway, I could imagine hitting them up once a week regardless.
The crepes!!. Omigod, I just LOOOOOVE these crepes. They’re a bit crispy and stuffed full, totally worth it!
The little cheesecakes are fairly tasty- a little bit of tang, a little bit of vanilla and not too heavy. A dipping sauce and a tray instead of a bag might be nice. The crepes are quite good . Nice and crispy and the green tea ice cream with adzuki beans was tasty. Crepes are better than Kawaii Crepes IMO.$5 is quite fair as well for the portions provided . The pork katsu sandwich is done nicely. My appetite wishes it were bigger but for $5 it was not skimpy for the quality . Greaseless, lightly battered tender pork with a fine cabbage slaw and a sauce that tastes like the Japanese ketchup I use for takoyaki . Overall worthwhile to try.
