Wasabi Sabi on Taylor (next to La Grotta) is quite nice and it is very elegant. This place reminded me of walking into a high class restaurant in Las Vegas. I felt underdressed when I was here on a casual dinner date with a friend.The service was excellent. I was offered coat check when I walked in the door during my visit in Dec.The restaurant serves a number of speciality rolls, a selection of sashimis, wagyu beef, and other hot dishes. The price is on the higher end in comparison to other sushi places in town, however, the food was very good.During my visit, I had the vegetables tempura, rainbow roll, sabi mushroom roll and truf e veggie roll. Of all, I enjoyed the sabi mushroom and the rainbow rolls the most.I would highly recommend Wasabi Sabi to all. If you’re looking for an elegant sushi restaurant in town, this is the place to check out.
