I was very impressed! I ordered the scallops off the dinner menu and they were superb. They came on a bed of white beans and bacon crumbles and were topped with a yummy cauliflower pure. They also served complimentary bread with their homemade hummus which was super tasty (though garlic-y – beware!). For dessert, I had the white chocolate peanut butter cheesecake which is one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten. It is a cheesecake with a hard peanut butter fudge type chocolate on the top of the cheesecake which was just heavenly. My waitress was very attentive and nice. Would definitely recommend this place.

Nice and Yummy. Mussels to start followed by the Peppercorn steak (Jazz and Blues festival special) Nice wine selection.

I ate their twice this summer and the food and service was good both times. The mussels in a garlic cream sauce was good – I replicated it myself at home the week after ordering it.

Everything done right. Ambience was nice, and although I don’t remember there being music (too busy conversing with others at the table), I cannot say that it’s a deal-breaker. Now onto more important things:The pear/strawberry salad was a perfect taste of summer (or the lack thereof). Although I appreciate the novel use of hazelnuts, I feel that the flavours would have been better-matched with either pecans or walnuts. The brie (a very large appetizer) balanced nicely with the sweet cranberry/pecan toppings.Being in the maritimes, I was looking for some seafood as a main course. Unfortunately, my allergy to fish makes this venture slightly difficult, but alas there was one option that worked: roasted scallops. Indeed, the scallop and risotto were both done to utter perfection and I have nothing bad to say. The serving size was not lacking, nor was the taste. The risotto might have been the best that I’ve ever had. Finally, although I was already full, the idea of dessert could not escape me. Apple crumble, here we come! This was a very large serving of dessert, where the dish was very deep and filled to the brim with baked apple goodness. Even though the apple portion is without complaint, I couldn’t help but feel that there was a lacking of the ‘crumble’ in the apple crumble.Overall, this is a very fine restaurant who takes both their service and food seriously. I recommend them to anyone looking for a night of fine dining.

So mussels with coconut cream and coriander to start. Then for the main sea food on rice. A martini a masi Pinot grigo and a Dbl cognac all for 68$$ And to the person who complained about no music They had some.

Music?. The food here is pretty good but they don’t always play music so the ambiance isn’t great. You just here chewing and kitchen sounds.
