I’m usually a very understanding customer, having worked as a cook and server when I was younger. With that being said, nothing about my dining experience here the other night is excusable. We were a party of 10 looking to have some drinks and food. It ended up being a pretty bad experience. Our waitress was beyond rude and she was very impatient. Her body language portrayed someone who was obviously stressed out and frantic, which is understandable given the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival. With that being said, under no circumstances do you treat paying customers (hundreds of dollars worth of food and beverage) the way we were treated. We waited 20 minutes for our first round of drinks and our food took the better part of 2 hours. By the time our appetizers came it had gotten cold so we moved inside. Not everyone got to eat together which was fine but there were certainly no apologies. Our food was cold and apparently some of our orders were never received by the kitchen so we had to wait even longer for food. At the end of our visit there was an apology from the manager but the owness was not on them. They blamed the high volume of people for the incident. Their idea of remediation was 4 tequila shots on the house. Needless to say, I will not be visiting this restaurant again. It is unfortunate because the building is beautiful and it has a ton of potential given its location. Very disappointed as I have never been treated so poorly before.
