Won’t go back as this was our third time their and we were hoping for a nice evening third time around, the only nice thing about the place is the new building.It’s very loud place,,food was cold,,like eating in a large mess hall with young kids as servers who have no idea what their serving as their here today & gone tomorrow & the servers are very light on on cloths..Steak was like kangaroo meat and I wish I brought a chain saw to cut it..over priced for the amount & quality of food you receive..Sorry But we eat out a lot and maybe our expectations were too high as the Moxies in Halifax just seems to offer a higher quality of food with better service and the servers are much more knowledgeable about what’s on the menu and their communication skills were superior to the Moncton staff.
It’s like the food is all microwaved from frozen. Have it THREE chances and was disappointed all three times.
Two visits. Food was salty appetizers and entree. Atmosphere is really not what I expected, darker, loungish and all staff are expected to wear tight fitting and short clothing, similar feel as the keg but not sure why the required attire.
Not Impressed. Don’t really know what the food was like didn’t get to taste any. Went with others (10) total not allowed to make reservation as its the weekend :(Waited over an hour still not seated. Left at that point so the other’s could possible get seated sooner.Would we go back??? Very slim…too bad heard alot about the restaurant ..guess it was more about the name….
Its a hit or miss with the food. The service is terrible. You never have the same sever, always someone different. You never know who to tip. Will not be going back and would not recommend it to anyone…
Gluten Free For Sure. Had a fabulous meal at Moxies with friends. As soon as I asked for a Gluten Free menu I was transferred to a manager. She personally took my order, delivered it to the kitchen and then served it to me so as ensure it remained Gluten free. Man was I impressed !!!!!! After many very scary experiences in restaurants across the globe, I can easily say Moxies was the exception. My meal was GF and I was sure of it. WTG Moxies !!!
Highly Reccomend. Kid friendly ? .Unless you want to see your kids looking girls in mini skirts at an take them as a roll model . Then I highly recommed leaving the kids at home :/ .Not impressed.
