Salty Dog!. Went with my daughter, during Moncton Christmas parade. Special occasion celebration for us. Travelled from out of province, for rare mother/daughter getaway on 30th anniversary of her adoption. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered the Manhattan striploin. My daughter had the filet mignon. She was happy, and that made me happy, but I literally could not eat that steak. It was so salty! And, as I am a person who loves salt, I had my daughter taste it to tell me what she thought. She could not forgive it, either. We left it on the plate.Why did we say nothing to the waiter? Because it was not his fault, and we just could not make a fuss that would ruin our evening. I ate my veggies and some of that meat, and did not go hungry, but left disappointed, and a tad cranky, that I paid so much for a meal I would be embarrassed to serve from my own kitchen.
If you are looking for an intimate quiet supper out this is not the place to go as it’s crowed and very loud…That being said its our opinion that it’s the best high end sports tavern around..Its pricey but the food is great and you get what you pay for..Our waitress was Awosome and her name was Heather she communicated well ,knew her menue well and was very well informed with the wines which pleased my wife..Heather was very busy and in no way did we feel rushed..We would go again..
Cost 2 much. Whet and payed 160$ for me and my man for a stake dinner for both of us with 2 drinks of wine. I found the service was not the best and was wishing The Bent Spoon was licence so I could go there and have a meal better and cost less me and my man went there and had two triple A strip loin sweet potato mash blend, and veg with tow pop :(, but cost us $56.50 tax included best deal in town they just need drinks dam.
GREAT BEEF!!. We went here and just loved the prime rib!! Was cooked to perfection.
Terrible, terrible food! I’ve been to many Keg Steakhouse in about 4 provinces and this one is the worse by far. They have no idea how to cook steak and the waitress kept on bringing my main course out before I even got my ap! Once I finally got to the main course I found that they over cooked my steak and had drenched it with salt that my tongue was numb. No exaggeration! I got people around me to taste it as well. Since I like to give second chances to make a good impression, I went there once more and found that the food was still gross and the waitress still can’t understand what a main and an ap is.
Our wait time on a Friday eve at 6 was 1hour. However,once we got a table the food, include my striploin was great. Price for 3 without entre, liquor or desert was $ 90
Quick and efficient service, but HORRIBLE FOOD.. I know that there is always going to be atleast one bad review for every restaurant, and I hate that mine has to be it. I went to the restaurant as unbiased as possible (I was actually quite excited because of all the good things I heard from people). When we arrived we were told that it was about a 45min-1hour wait and we could either chose to stand or sit at the bar. We chose the bar, and were seated within 15 minutes. The waiter was very nice, and paid close attention to detail. I really don’t like steak, so I figured the chicken would be my best bet. I had the Grilled Chicken with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce. When I got it, the bottom of my chicken was completely charred. I sent it back. When he returned with yet another charred chicken, I was not impressed. I simply took it and sawed off the burnt bottom. Needless to say not much was left. Not impressed with them burning it not once, but TWICE. It was pretty pricy for the two of us as well (almost $75 and we each had one drink!)
