By The Sea Caf offers a wide range of Western Cuisine including our Signature Steak Dinners with a delightful fare of Seafood! In addition, we pride ourselves in offering Traditional Newfoundland Specialty Choices! Pea Soup and Dumplings have been a tradition for us Newfoundlanders on Saturdays, and each Saturday it's offered at By the Sea Caf! On Sunday, it's our traditional Cooked Dinner (Jigg's Dinner), complete with doughboys, puddings and all the trimmings! Our Seafood Chowder has earned it's merit as a very popular item near and far, not to mention our fish cakes and baked beans. Our signature dessert is crepes with bakeapple, partridge berry, blueberry, raspberry and strawberry jam toppings. Visitors travel from miles away - just for our crepes!!Details

Stopped in for a quick bite. Food was good – raining, otherwise would have been a nice view. Hamburger was decent, spinach/artichoke dip also good. Friendly staff and clean spot.
Great food and staff .. excellent place to visit. We enjoyed different fresh seafood dishes and visiting with another couple who we asked to join our table. Fellow travelers- fun times
Delicious home style cooking and hospitality. Mike reservations because the locals love this place. Great location by the bay offering special views of this beautiful part of the country.
This restaurant is located on the waterfront. The staff are friendly and cheerful, and the menu varied. It makes a great place to relax, catch up with friends, or to further plan another adventure. A nearby crafts shop complements the stopover in this wonderful area.
