Always Always Great. Chinched’s strong point is amazingly tasty consistency. I just show up with colleagues or friends and know all will be great in a relaxed, multi tasting fashion. From the opening hearty tasting breads to the finishing touch of the chocolate morsel to deliver the bill, all courses are is always perfect! And, co-owner Michele takes the time to chat with and inform clients. Thank you.
Dependably good and interesting. Never had a bad or boring meal here. Service always good and friendly. Split (half) portion are great (the option of eating less is nice). Nice wine list. Menu seems to change about monthly.I enjoy the street view from the second floor window (end of George Street, front of a strip club, corner boys), but if you don’t like that, ask for a seat away from the windows.
Tough competition. Difficult to determine which was better the friendly knowledgeable staff or the incredible food. One of the best dining out experience, a definite place to revisit. Hope they consider opening one in Halifax.
LOVED Chinched. The hand crafted pasta was incredible, not to often I will eat something and have my eyes widen with delight. Maybe the first time in my life I have enjoyed brussel sprouts. Food and service (tim) was excellent, and the Pinot Noir was a fantastic extra. New fav place in the city.
Very, very good!. Enjoyed an excellent dinner at Chinched. Duck spring rolls, skirt steak with bone marrow and olive oil potato puree, salmon with basil spaetzle, ancho rubbed duck breast are all very good. Nice wine list. Attentive and timely service. This is a destination restaurant.
Excellent food! Excellent service!. Absolutely delicious. Truly talented chefs. Food is full of different flavours and always something new to try. Portion sizes are right on. Left full of wonderful food and happy with the excellent service. Loved the quail!
