I’m a fan of Coffee Matters but mainly to a degree of quick menu items. Their coffee is great and so are grab and go items such as desserts and baked goods. Lunch is pretty decent as well with your basic cafe soup and sandwich combos. As for a cooked breakfast I think you may find better value elsewhere. But personally I love grabbing a morning glory muffin and an americano on my way to the office when I am staying in the neighbouring Sheraton. So for a quick breakfast, coffee, lunch and dessert Coffee Matters is great. Also this is one of the few cafes in town open late and is a popular place for evening coffee. Give it a try.
Poor quality breakfast. The waffles were dry and cold. The bagel sandwich was cold as well, not toasted. Coffee is okay. Will not come back.
OMG! THE best lunch ever. I have never written a review about anywhere but this place is so good I had to share! The environment was relaxing, the food was amazing and the desserts were to die for. The service was friendly and fast. And of course the coffee was delish as well. My new fav spot!
Pleased. This place is super clean, and very friendly service. While walking around you get tired sometimes so you need to stop in and get something to drink, or have a bite to eat. Something light and nice. If you want to stop by and get a cup of coffee this is the place to relax and take a time out. It wasn’t at all busy and pretty quiet. I ordered a caramel latte while my family got some hot tea and coffee. The espresso was pretty good and I was able to try two different flavour shots in the small cup and was satisfied with how patient they were with me.. LoL Yea I sound like a hog right now but you got to make sure that you find out your favorite flavor!! Coffee really does matter! 🙂
Gluten free sandwiches?. Great gluten free options, pretty good cappuccino.
Poor Quality. Over priced food and beverages that are made with poor ingredients. Not worth it and the decor is average but looks a bit fake. Wondering how the profits from sales are being used to improve the product they are selling.
Love this place! My first and favourite spot to hit whenever I’m in town. Espresso beverages are great, desserts are incredible, & service has always been terrific. Great atmosphere too – winter or summer!
