I visited Evoo shortly after their initial opening and was quite impressed with the food and service. The setting inside is quite pleasant and welcoming. Our food was extremely good excluding one of the appetizers, which was the calamari. Half eaten the waiter noticed and asked if it was okay and we replied politely and honestly that it wasn’t great. No problem he said and took it right off the bill. I found this professional and courteous. For my main I had a simple spaghetti and meatball dish and upon finishing the waiter could tell I enjoyed it much more than the appetizer as their wasn’t a trace of it left. Although simple it was probably one of the best pastas I have ever had; from taste, temperature, presentation and even portion size. It was perfect. As for my overall experience at Evoo it wasn’t far from that, perfect. Yes there was a small hiccup but it was handled professionally and effectively. Problems happen and it’s how you handle them that counts. I will be back and I hope that Evoo sticks around because it’s delicious!
