Hungry Heart Cafe. The food was very good and the service was good too. Portions are smaller but the flavours make up for it. Had the burger and could tell that the burger and bun were hand made.
Love this place!. Not only is the food fantastic! they support a great cause as well! your not just paying for a meal when you go here, your helping a community.
Great food and service
Awesome resto!!. I am visiting from Montreal and mostly have found the food in St.John’s to be super expensive and a bit soso. Hungry Heart Cafe was a delightful find. I found it still a little bit expensive, but the food was absolutely delicious, the atmosphere was lovely and the servers were awesome!! Very nice eating experience plus I love their philosophy. I recommend you eat here!!
I love their lunch and friendly servers. Didn’t know they are open for dinner now, but tried it last week and was just excellent! Best food I’ve had in a long time. Definitely will go back.
Easily the best dining experience we had in a week in Saint John’s! From what we saw, good food in Saint John’s is expensive and the Hungry Heart Caf is the best food you can get without spending a lot. On top of it all, it has a conscience. It serves local, organic foods (so fresh!! even the garden salad stands out) and its proceeds support a rehab program. Truly worth your visit! We went back twice!
The people and the food here are always fantastic. You will never be disappointed! I wish there was another space though because whenever I go there is no where to sit.
