Operating on the Viking Trail, The Jackladder offers a host of services and amenities aligned with the seasons. Our RV Park operates from May to October with 50 amp service available. Year round cottage rentals available within close proximity. We have a Full Service Restaurant with homemade food and our specialty - Moose Burgers! Our convenience store and gas bar are open daily 7 am to 10 pm daily. In winter we coordinate snowmobile packages in scenic Western Newfoundland for the outdoor enthusiasts including machine rentals, accommodation, and guided tours. Our lounge offers live local entertainment during snowmobile season.Details

Tried the special – Jiggs Dinner. It tasted very good at a very good price. If you are travelling to Gros Morne and your timing is right, i would recommend stopping in for lunch or dinner.
Service was ok, food was just ok, prices were high but reasonable for rural Nlfd. We wouldn’t exactly recommend Jackladder’s, but if you’re in the area it might be your only choice, and it’s not bad.
Service was wonderful — warm and welcoming. Fish main course very competently done; vegetable/side disappointing.
Conveniently located, great place for a quick bite when en route to beautiful National Parks in NL.Friendly staff, good service, good food, reasonably priced!
