Having just come back from Naples, Italy I can say that this place is better. A thin crust that they guarantee that you don’t need to use a knife and fork with. No soggy middle. The staff were told that we were in a rush and were very accommodating. The crust, sauce and cheese, as well as the toppings were all pretty good. Make your own version or order the standards. All the things that I disliked about Italian pizza, they do right here. The restaurant has a simple, clean and fresh look to it. Still like my home-town pizza better, but doesn’t everyone? Most people will find the offerings at Piatto more than satisfying.

I LOVE eating at this restaurant, especially the newer location on Elizabeth Ave. my husband and I recently went for our 5 year anniversary and as usual were not disappointed. Although busy, we were seated in a matter of minutes. Our server was friendly and en pointe, as well as attentive and helpful to not only us but also her coworkers. She even asked the pizza makers to make me a new one before bringing it out to me, as she felt it wasn’t made with as much sauce as it could have been. We ordered two speciality coffees, two apps, two pizzas and two desserts, and our total was reasonable at the end of the night. We plan on returning in the next few weeks. A new regular for us. ( a regular go to for a monthly pizza night my friends and I attend).

Well this is most certainly not your Boston Pizza which is a wonderful thing. Neapolitan style pizza and a wine flight makes this place more than your average pizza joint. The caprese salad was a delicious starter and all for the low price of $15!!! A crazy lunch special for downtown 🙂 we will definitely go back.
