The 7-course tasting menu… An absolute must for all visitors to John’s. All ethically made/raised foods. Excellent service and wines/drinks too. I loved the lounge seating area. Will be coming back again on a future visit.

Firstly Raymond’s is fairly expensive especially if you plan to do wine pairings, but the level service, food quality and options nearly justifies the prices, nearly. I have dined several times at Raymond’s and have always been satisfied there is no doubt in that but the bill can be a little shocking. I must admit however that the level of professionalism is hard to beat with the serving staff and also the sommeliers. I was very impressed with Raymond’s wine selection and also the knowledge of the staff regarding the Okanagan wine region (often a rare occurrence so far from the west). I still don’t think I would call it ‘the best’ in Canada or St. John’s but I will surely say it’s one of the best.

Shnits Nurger. Average food and way over priced, the mcdonalds of steak, ghetto burger, half decent service, will not go back

  • Cotter

Easily the best service in the city. And probably the best restaurant in the city now, overall. I think M&S do a slightly better Tenderloin though.

Tasting Menu – The way to go. Fantastic!
