Not worth going. One of the worse eating places we attended on our visit and would not recommend. Food was overcooked and not even hot when served. Others in our group had similar bad experience here. Waste of money and would never go back. Now that our great visit is unfortunately over we can say this was by far the worse dining experience we had. Cook and waitresses need to be replaced here to correct the problems.
Always pleased when I visit rumples! I love the chicken Parmesan with fettuccine for the side with added Alfredo sauce 🙂 to die for!
Hit or miss. First visit – Service was great, food was great. lobster and steak cooked to perfection.Second visit – Service was great, food was sub par, steak was over cooked and dry (ordered medium rare)Third visit – Service was great, food was terrible. Overcooked lobster, dry bland overcooked steak, soggy seasonal vegetables.I wont be returning
Not too impressed. Served frozen chicken breast from a box! Took forever! Only ok.
This is one of my favorite places to eat in St. John’s. I have loved everything I have ever tried, the steak is my favorite however. The service is as wonderful as the view.
Great brunch! And excellent service, very friendly.
Dissapointing first taste of maritime seafood. A friend and I stopped in for dinner and to enjoy the great view and were dissapointed with both the food and service. We had long waits for service which was surprising since the restaurant was almost empty. The waitress forgot all about my tea and mis-heard my friend’s request to upgrade to sweet potato fries from regular ones. Upon realizing the mistake, she didn’t replace them. I had a ceasar salad with cajun shrimp added and the seafood chowder. The chowder was bland and the only seafood I found in it was salmon, and $8 bought me 5 overcooked and cold shrimp. When I sent the shrimp back, they simply microwaved them, making them even more overcooked and hard. The ceasar salad was overloaded with unexceptional dressing. My friend’s burger and fries were just ok: the fries were brown as if the fryer oil hadn’t been changed in a while and soggy. I was surprised since it was not a cheap meal, costing about $50 in all. Service was appologetic but no concerns were fixed. I wouldn’t eat here again.
