I’ll start off by saying the food was really delicious & we enjoyed that.However, our server was the worst we have ever experienced in St. John’s. When our coffee & tea were brought out, there was no Milk offered, only cream. We had to ask for that.When our food was delivered (in a timely manner) there was no offer for a refill of our drinks which were now empty. We had to ask for that.When he returned with my friends refill, he only refilled theirs and started to walk away. I had to ask for my own refill.Our server did not check in to see how our experience was, he never offered any refills of our drinks. Ultimately we were left feeling we were bothering this person. We did not leave a tip since we felt such service did not seem deserving of one. He slapped the receipt on the table, said nothing and walked off.1.5 – only because the food was good……I’d like to give this restaurant another chance because we really liked the food, and the rest of the server staff seemed really great from what I observed. But if we ever did, we would request that we never have that particular server again.
I wouldn’t say that the food was bad but I wouldn’t say that it was great either. I think my taste buds have just evolved more than just your average food. The view was spectacular but this place was nothing to write home about.
