A dim-lit and formal restaurant; the GTR has a great selection of wines and a fantastic menu covering seafoods, red meats, and birds. I tried their standard Duck on the menu and it was absolutely delicious. A great choice for a nice dinner out or to conduct business dinners.
Was in Newfoundland for a week and decided to try Gypsy my final night in town for my final meal, what a mistake. Bad service, ordered a burger (simple right?), terrible idea. Burger was dry and over cooked. Serviced lacked. Overall experience go accross the street to Yellow Belly’s or go to Get Stuffed (my favorite in St Jons). It may have just been my experience but I will not recommend or go back. Happy eatings!!
