I wished I lived here. I would eat everything on this menu… The poutinerie and bravacado sandwich were amazing. And the chocolate cake was out of this world.
Visiting from Toronto, my boyfriend and I have been here 3 days and have been to Sprout twice- we LOVE it. Neither of us are vegetarians but the food was amazing, great service and an excellent vibe. Fav Nfld restaurant!
I’m not vegetarian but I still love going to the sprout for a delicious meal in a friendly atmosphere. The bravocado sandwich is a must have and don’t forget the side of tofu strips! Always very fresh and tasty, never disappoints!

Off day for the chef?. I returned to the Sprout for my usual pad Thai and was disappointed that it was bitter. We pointed this out to the server and there was no offer of a replacement…usually thePad Thai is terrific…disappointing indeed.
I want to love this place. I think a good veg restaurant is a great asset to the downtown core, but I’ve found the food and service to be hit or miss.
The Sprout was excellent, really good vegetarian food!! It is a very nice addition to St.John’s.
