Mucho Delicioso!. I love Zapatas! The best chili ever. I also like their burritos and Pescado a la Veracruz. Yum! Also, a great place to go on New Year’s Eve.
Three words- ULTIMATE LAYERED NACHOS!! For $17.99 these babies fed two of us more than enough to go with our pitcher of delicious sangria however, we just had to try the Banana Santana- also superb. Fantastic service, FRESH & plentiful ingredients and it’s quite reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
Great Service, Great Food. I’ve been to Zapatas on two occassions and the service and food have been great both times. The restaurant’s atmosphere is very cozy and charming. The menu offers meals with several side dishes; like enchaladas with refried beans, Mexican rice, and chili. Prices are very reasonable. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Mexican food.
This is as good as restaurant Mexican food gets in St. John’s which is unfortunate.
We used to be regulars at ZaPs. however, over the last year or two the plates seem to be getting bigger or is it that as the portions are getting smaller. Used to be the taste of the food was unique and we really enjoyed it, however the food now seems to be in line with any other fast food Tex Mex chain.
Best Mexican in St.John’s!. This restaurant has amazing Mexican food and a nice cozy atmosphere.
It was good enough if you feel you need Mexican in NL, but honestly the food is like what you get at a chain restaurant like chi chis.
