We only stopped for a drink and a cake. Drink was served in a chipped mug and the topping on the carrot cake was warm, why? Everything seemed to be thrown at us. We shan’t be going back.
The food looked good but on this occasion we only stopped for tea. Service was good, we were greeted with a smile and the waitress was chatty, pleasant and friendly. Service was efficient, the tea nice. Some great views from the back deck.
We stopped here for lunch, had fish and chips and beverage, served by a young waitress-in-training. Very pleasant, helpful and charming. Menu was limited, but the meal was good.
Fantastic cottage! Mary-Lou was an excellent host With real Newfoundland hospitality. View from the cottage is spectacular, and you can walk out on the beach and into the ocean to see the hermit crabs and other critters out there. Highly recommend this place.
