A cute little spot with a number of tea options, including teas from World Tea House in Halifax! The food and drink was affordable. I forget exactly what I had (it’s been awhile), but I believe it was either french toast or pancakes & they were fantastic! I definitely felt like I had treated myself! There isn’t tons of seating, so I would recommend going with a small group and not at a busy time. I was there around 9am on a Thursday and there was no one else there, so it was easy to get a spot.Worth checking out!
Best Cafe Ever. My son took me to Ma Belle’s for my Mother’s Day treat. The food (all home made), atmosphere and service was excellent.Definitely 10 out of 10. I can’t wait to take my best friend from Digby to either lunch or HIGH TEA on her next visit.May 2015. Beaverbank N.S.

So came into ma bells to see chef at front of store we went to take our seating chef gave dirty look as we sat and he gave us our menu’s still with unwelcoming look on face did not say hi or any kind of greetings. we were then served by a pretty young waitress who was very nice and thoughtful. drinks on the table in no time and she was very tend full to us and our food.The wait for the food was kinda sad seeing as we are the only people in here at this moment 2:50 pm food was very tasty looking nicely presented. over all a good experience.
Good food, poor attitude. True, the food here is great at very reasonable prices. However, the staff can be less than cordial at times and certainly not accommodating. Refusing a 40-week pregnant woman to adjust a chair on the patio so that she could sit in the shade on a 30C day (ostensibly since it was a fire hazard and even though she would be blocking exactly noone) is far from appropriate customer service. Although I enjoyed the food, such disregard for the well-being of their most vulnerable patrons means I will not be returning.

Tried the Fish Cakes. Big mistake:You really have to work hard to ruin lettuce. Do not put the dressing on before it is served. Small portions, Tasteless, slow service, luke warm, overpriced, but the coffee was good.
Well worth it at a great price! Nice ambiance and friendly staff.
