Great place to eat. Price is great for great food. I wish they had a bigger menu for seafood. The steaks are very close to the keg. Service was great we were a larger group of 12 and the staff handled us perfectly. I would recommend this place while visiting Halifax
Fantastic place! We go there for work dinners all the time. Service and food are excellent. They also have amazing lunch deals. I recommend their $10 ribs on Friday. Their desserts are also amazing. I love their creme brul.
Outstanding: the food, the service, the atmosphere! I almost didn’t come because of the bad reviews. Then, Craig at The Hollis DoubleTree recommended it. Am I ever glad I listened to him. I added shrimp to my ribs and they were huge, perfectly grilled and simply delicious! So, ignore the bad reviews and try it for yourself. Gillian, thank you for th warm welcome when I walked in.
Not worth it. I recently took my girlfriend to this so called fancy restaurant. The steak was so over cooked I could barely eat it. Over priced and over hyped. Would take a lot to get me anywhere close to this place again.
For the price of the food quality was poor! My husband had ordered sauted mushrooms it wasn’t edible, the amount of salt used was horrific! Was told by our server that they used steak seasoning to flavor it! I will definitely not go back.
OK But Not Great (Dinner 7/5). I would return, but with a different expectation. Service was good and friendly. The food was tasty but it was evident that it was a production operation of a chain restaurant. The Halibut was tasty but slightly dry, the Lobster tasted like it was previously frozen and mushy. If I returned I would probably stick with beer and bar food. It is a good place for those that are looking for a cold beer, snacks and enjoying the company. Prices do not match quality
Not recommended. Against the advice of a dining colleague from away, who couldnt believe we were going to a ‘chain restaurant’, we went anyway – it was a mistake. I had been a few years ago at a couple of their Quebec locations and they were okay. Reservations booked on line were not acknowledged and when we arrived their were only two tables of guests. Our server was knowledgeable and quite efficient. Calamari app. was a little underdone two different types of steak ordered were tough, lobster tail very overcooked. Prime rib was a cold slab with an odd texture, garlic mash almost inedible. $300.00 later (for 3- good red wine list) ,it will be Ryan Duffy’s next time where the quality is significantly better in the local steakhouse scene
