Boomers lounge was a great place 20 years ago and still pretty good 10 years ago but was closed and the Midtown Tavern took over the space – MidTown is a basic tavern with usually decent tavern (not Pub) food and very good service
It’s a really good bar to go to downtown. Depending on the night, it can get pretty crowded (although this is to be expected as it is in the downtown core). Drinks are affordable, as well as the cover charge ($5)
