Stunning meal. This place is warm and welcoming, not the least bit pretentious for locally sourced food. It feels like the kind of place where you can hang out with friends and enjoy a nice meal or appetizers and drinks. The biscuit was flaky and warm. I’m not inclined to eat lots of carbs, but this was certainly the best biscuit I have ever eaten. Topped with molasses or butter, it was a lovely treat to start the meal. The server told me that I can find the recipe on the website. I will try to make a batch – worth the effort. For my entree, I had the shrimp encrusted halibut with asparagus and potatoes. Such a tender, delicately cooked piece of fish. Absolutely divine. Fresh. It tasted recently caught.I’m glad this restaurant was recommended to me. There were many options I reluctantly rejected tonight, so I will have to make my way back here.

We had two hours before our flight and decided to try our luck at this restaurant seeing how positive the review were. Fortunately they had one table for us, and we had a great experience.Everything on the menu looks great, seemed to be updated for the season and features all local ingredients. I settled for the special fish cakes, which came with fennel slaw and spinach sauce – it was delicious! Next came the harbour Salmon with veggies and mashed potato. Salmon was very tasty and the pickle that was served with was a great pairing. For desserts, i had the bread pudding which was good but lacked a bit of punch. The room is nicely decorated, without pretention and lots of space between tables. Service was also very friendly. Will definitely come back next time i’m in town. Highly recommended to try out the local ingredients.
