Really good breakfast/brunch options. Their sweet crpes and pancakes are to die for. There is definitely room for improvement in terms of service and pricing. But considering their large portions, prices could make sense. If you want a good serving of eggs benny (for which they are mostly specialized for), then this could be your calling.
I’m from Winnipeg and Cora’s is a top notch breakfast place. However, this was different in Halifax. I found the portions smaller and the fruit serving was more of a garnish than a serving. The taste is what I expected it to be but my plate was much lighter here than in other Cora’s I’ve been to.

Lacking. I once went here EVERY weekend, now, not so much! I realize that at any given restaurant you’re going to recieve poor service at one time or another but this weekend took the cake for me. In spite of Hurricane Earl, a couple friends and I decided to venture out to Cora’s. The food was good and our waiter was great. At the end of the meal we’re sitting there chatting and the roof begins to leak on my head (we’re not talking a couple drops either). My pants ended up soaked and do you think that ONE person from the staff came to apologize? The waiter did give me 10% off my meal and while I realize they didn’t make the ceiling pour water on me, a little apology would have gone a long way!
