First time went here, the service was meh at the best and the price of the food seemed way over price for just a burger, friends and a pop. The good thing is that it’s fountain pop and you can have as many refills as you wanted. The food was good for fast food, not sure if I will be back.

Definitely one of the best (if not THE best) burger place in downtown Halifax. Although a little pricier than other places, being a big lover of guac, Flipburger’s southwestern burger is undoubtedly my favourite.Over the years, the size of their burgers and quantity of fries have lessened, in my opinion, but it’s still a favourite place for me. Their milkshakes as well, are to die for. I’ve tried both the cookie and oreo milkshakes and they are both amazing for $5.Flipburger is also one of the few places where you can make your burger a salad and avoid the bread! It may sound unappetizing to some, but trust me, it really is as good as having the burger with the bun – with a hint of less guilt! The last time I dined there, I added garlic parmesan and truffle oil to my fries – I was not disappointed and I may have made a huge mistake because I don’t think I can have the fries without it anymore!
I was told this was the best burger place in downtown Halifax. So I went here a few days after having gone to a different burger place, so unfortunately this one didn’t live up to expectations. I like the options for toppings, but the haystack onions were so chewy and stringy that I couldn’t bite through, there was too much bun, and almost no sauce (to the point that I had to put ketchup on after I got it). The serving of fries was tiny, but tasty.
