I ate dinner here twice in the past 4 days. The place is a large sports bar, a la Real Sports in Toronto. The feel is quite modern – under bar lighting, metal and glass as opposed to a pub feel. Regrettably it suffers from a lack of atmosphere when it is slow and it was slow both times I was there. The staff were quite friendly on both occasions although service was slow from the kitchen. Despite few patrons I waited well over half an hour for food (soup and a burger or sandwich both times). Not sure what that would mean on a busy night.The food was very good when it did arrive; the chicken and rice soup is excellent and I enjoyed their burger as well. There is a pretty good selection of beer on tap also although I might have liked to see more craft offerings.Cost is a little steep – $50-60 tip in for two beers, soup and a burger/sandwich. The quality of the food was worth it, but the slow service makes it feel excessive.
