Fantastic aunthentic/close to authentic Lebanese spot! It’s also decently priced and the staff is always friendly. If you get a shawarma, make sure you ask for their (free) fries option, that’s the correct way of eating shawarma and I was delighted to see them offer that option.
Food was okay. Had a Shwarma. Pita was dry, chicken was good. Very friendly servers, but they were hard to understand. A bit dirty inside too. Could use a paint job. But nice wall mural.
The falafel have taken a turn to the worse! I have ordered falafel several times in the past few months and it was very dry, salty and powdery on the inside. The chicken shawarma is no better. The chicken is always very very dry. It seems like it was left to grill/cook for a very long time. I would not recommend this place for someone craving (tasty) authentic Lebanese food.
INCREDIBLE. Do not miss. TOP NOTCH Shawarma and Donair. Fair pricing for massive portions, friendly service, not that it matters when the food is this good.
Average. Tried the falafel wrap with french fries. The food came out quick and was good, but nothing special that would make me come back to this location again. Atmosphere was fast-food like and despite there being a few staff members and only one filled table, almost all the tables in the dining room were dirty and we had to request for them to be cleaned.
We ordered the Chicken Shwarma Wrap (no French fries in this one) and I’m happy to say this is the best in HRM!It was fresh and the chicken was done perfectly. You won’t find a better one anywhere !
Best Donairs in Halifax. Recently changed names from Venus Pizza to Mezza after a reno on Barrington St. Do not let the abrupt (almost rude) phone reception deter you. Put in an order for donairs and you will be VERY happy!! Generously sized and delivered in a timely manner. For example: 3 good sized donairs + a 2 L of Coke with taxes and del charge = $21.85 Can’t beat it!!
