We had a very bad experience in Mirch Tandoor on a sunday evening. the food we ordered arrived took anywhere between 45 minutes to 1 hour arrive as there is only one chef. the staff were too unfriendly . ambiance was too bad and noisy and the food was not that great. never recommenced.
Thought we would try this place because I heard it was good. It was crowded, noisy and very hot as it is not air conditioned. The food is good but not the best and the service is very slow. We split a Butter Chicken and a Chicken Tandoor with a lime salad and nan bread. The food took 35 minutes to arrive. Probably won’t return.
It’s lovely place to dine in Halifax . As new immigrants to Halifax from india . I found the most authentic taste in here . Try anything and ask them to make it more spicy if you want . I recommend everyone to try.
Best Indian in town!. I went here a few weeks ago and feel in love instantly. Having a good friend being Indian who cooks for me quite often coming here reminded me of that. The atmosphere wasn’t some western restaurant trying to be Indian, but a real Indian environment. From the music videos playing in the background to the newspapers for Hindi speaking people. It was so authentic, food and all. Truly fantastic!
