Disappointing Every Time. I have been to Smoke’s 2 or 3 times since moving to Halifax, and so far it has been the worst Poutine I have had since leaving Quebec. I recommend getting your poutine anywhere else but here.
Fab pigout. Awsome sick imagination at work designing the menu. You want to be good and hungry then go for one of their wonder offerings in the full size. Oh oh you won’t want to move for a few hous after. It’s an experience. Just. Do. It.
Awesome late night food. Went there with the wife for some late night food. Fries were done perfectly and we had the cheese burger option. It was awesome. Portion was big enough for 2..would go back again
Before going to this poutinerie, I looked up some reviews from the Winnipeg location. Almost all of the reviews (there were a lot) said that something was off with the gravy. Too much thyme I think? I didn’t notice this, and if there was a difference it couldn’t be tasted. I got the original and it was amazing. My boyfriend got the pulled pork poutine and he loved it too. I’ve heard that a lot of ingredients can make the fries soggy (the bacon cheeseburger option) but the pulled pork stayed fine and has an awesome sauce too. We got the regular size, which was way more than enough so keep that in mind as well. I’m a poutine lover and will definitely be going back!
