Meh. Although the green papaya salad was incredible, the green curry was AWFUL. The balance was way off. Sugar bomb city. Maybe consistency issues?

The spice is definitely there! Possibly the best curry I’ve ever had – but definitely spicy. Trust your server. I’d recommend some extra rice to eat the curry with. Green and Masaman curries are the best. The tea comes in these cool elephant vases.

Great food, great service. I have visited Talay Thai in Cole Harbour 4 times and every time the food is amazing and the service is great. It has a nice decor and staff are always very welcoming, friendly and knowledgable about the menu.I highly recommend this restaurant for some great Thai food, every thing is always so fresh and has beautiful presentation. Great to have such a nice place to eat in our neighbourhood. 🙂

Don’t NEED to go back. Had good food, came quickly, but service from Karen (I believe that was her name) was AMAZING she acted like the place was her baby. She helped me order, made suggestions, amazing! Chicken satay was delish! Peanut sauce was good warm with some chunks of peanuts, also served with sweet cucumber sauce.Tom Kha (coconut soup) – medium spicy- w. prawns. Good, strong, full flavour …Pad Thai chicken was good! Not as flavourful as I’m used to. I enjoyed this restaurant, however I didn’t taste anything spectacular that I NEED to have again. , it wasn’t good enough not to try a different Thai place next time.

This was my first time and I went with a group of four others. The place is giant and it wasn’t very busy. The decor is suiting and the wait staff were friendly. The cons, the menu size ! It was like reading a text book, of food. I (finally) settled on sesame chicken with thai sauce for more kick. My food was tasty however not hot and the portions we’re decent for the whole table. The others ordered spicy dishes which were not spicy at all, something uncharacteristic of a Thai restaurant. Overal my bill with tax and tip came to 18 for one meal. A little much but it wasn’t a horrible experience.
