Excellent selection of beers, food was ok, interior is split level with some tv and good view of bar. Location downtown is key. Some patio seating. Check it out!

Food is just ok, wouldn’t every go out of my way to go to this place for the food, just standard or slightly below average for pubs in the city, but they have beer and usually have a good local band playing music, if you just want to sit around to listen to some music than it’s worth checking out.

Enjoyed it. Stopped in after moving back home & had the fish & chips & a beer, waitress was very friendly & food was great! We will be back !

My boyfriend & I visited this location sometime in November. We ordered potato skins and chicken wings & had a pitcher of beer. The wings were RAW inside. And I don’t mean just a little undercooked. They were still very much pink and looked like Chicken looks before any preparations are done to it. I couldn’t believe my eyes! When we alerted the server she snatched them and quickly ran with them to the kitchen before anyone else had te chance to see. We werent offered any type of coupon and only had the fee waived for our good. Had we not been late for a moosehead game I would have expected a little more compensation such as the pitcher being free or a coupon for another visit Will not be returning

Burger and beer hit the spot. A sunny, late spring day in Halifax (yes! no kidding) and a long walk made us hungry. Sitting outside along the pedestrian mall likely made the meal taste better. My burger was cooked properly, although the bun went soggy before I could finish. The meat had good texture, but no solid presence of flavour. Fries were not quite cooked enough. The food hit the spot, but I’d be more inclined to be here for a beer than a burger when I get back to Halifax.

Great Halifax pub. Always a good time. Food is ok, but have not eaten there in some time.
