Had the fish tacos with a salad and it was pretty good. Liked that the fish wasn’t battered. It could have had some cilantro but I liked nonetheless.
Came after seeing the specialty drink menu on-line. Upon arrival told the website was 5 years out of date and those drinks were not available. Had the combo appetizer basket with 4 onion rings,2 chicken strips and a bunch of potato skin bits cheese glued to the wrapping paper. Bartender did make a specialty shot we asked for happily and competently. Beer was cold and plentiful.
We came on Monday around suppertime for happy hour. My raspberry lemonade was delicious, and my husband’s beer was good. Kerri-anne had good service. Beautiful rooftop patio!
Nice Place. Good food here. Burgers are good and so is their cheesecake. Service was pretty good as well. Nice restaurant on the inside. Would definitely go back again when I am in this part of the country.
Go For the Patio. While YFM is not particularly special on the main floor, the patio is fantastic. Of course patios are best enjoyed in warm weather, but once they actually offered me a blanket one night when it got windy, because the staff noticed that I hadn’t brought a sweater. Staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is good. Especially if you are enjoying it on the rooftop while looking down over Spring Garden on a sunny summer day.
My fianc and I went there for Saturday brunch. The food was perfectly fine- he had a club sandwich and I had the banana bread French toast. A very typical chain restaurant pub feel.
In Halifax on business and this restaurant was nearby. I had the haddock with rice and carrots. It was a wonderfully meal. It is often hard to eat healthy while travelling but this tasted great with a light batter and no extra butters, oils or mayo. The waitress was very efficient, courteous and genuinely polite.
