Such a wonderful atmosphere. My brother is currently in Turkey and I’m so jealous … I’ve never been but with this place it feels like I could have. Great experience, taste, service, and prices!
Delicious Turkish Delights!. I have been to Cafe Istanbul a few times over the past few years and have never been disappointed! I usual end up ordering the chicken wrap with the side salad and a turkish tea – their cacjik (yogurt dip) is out of this world good! I also highly recommend the vegetarian mezza platter – perfect for sharing! The staff are great, the owner usually serves at lunch – which is a nice touch. Highly recommended for a tasty meal in the Spring Garden Rd. area. 9/10
Really enjoyed our meal and visited on Saturday evening, so we were treated to belly dancing entertainment which was fun.I agree with a previous reviewer who mentioned that the combination Meze appetizer plate (samples of 6 delightful appetizers) only came with a single pita. This was not nearly emough pita for the appetizer, and when we asked for more pita we were hiven 1 more piece! We ended up having to eat hummus with a spoon…come on!!!This was such a great place, would be so much better if they were a little more liberal with their pita. 🙂
