Good food at value prices. Service by Andrew was attentive and helpful for selection. Small place in industrial strip mall. Beverages were priced well. I had chicken fajitas which came pre-assembled, with sides of guacamole, sour cream and salsa. Check out the homemade sauces.
The food is always amazing and the staff is always welcoming. This place has the best burgers in Halifax, hands down. Weird location but really awesome food, ambiance and staff. A+ will eat again
Huge disappointment.. Mediocre at best… Staff was OK, but not superfriendly. Our food (salad with the toughest chicken I have ever not eaten and a hohum burrito) was very disappointing. They have no highchairs or change tables ( and there were 5 infants there) which made dining unpleasant with a wee one (and I know, what kind of parent takes their kid to a tequila bar?; a fair question). Overall, we really, really wanted to like this place, but won’t go back.
Awesome, we will be back!. My husband and I came here for date night. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Due to the industrial location it was somewhat hard to find but worth the search. We split Nachos for an app which were good, reminded me of cancun. For mains my husband ordered tacos and i got chimichangas. Both were great and very filling, we had enough for the next day. And very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend trying it out! 🙂
Great, authentic mexican food!. We went to Cheachies on the recommendation of friends. We were not disappointed! If you enjoy Mexican food, you will not be disappointed either. Try their fresh salsa and their hot sauce made on site is incredible.
Total unassuming place. My wife and I were visiting halifax and just found this place by chance. Definitely not to be judged by the outside. Amazing inside and the food and service is spectacular. We are definitely going back again 😀
Hidden Gem, amazing food, good service, and good prices. My husband and I are visiting Halifax, we were looking for a place we had not been before and found Cheachie’s Grill. The food is amazing! I definely recommend this authentic Mexican restaurant. Everything tastes fresh, and their food and alcohol prices are very decent.
