I’ve eaten take out ordered from work on various occasions and found the food is consistently good and the portions are ridiculously large. The egg rolls are fantastic and the prices are cheap.That being said, I can only recommend this place for take-out or get it delivered because it really is a dump. It’s so cold that the kitchen staff were wearing parkas. The place is well overdue for new furniture and a coat of paint if not just a really good cleaning. If it looks this bad in the dining area I can only believe the kitchen must look like something out of the Exorcist.The staff are reasonably friendly but it’s easy to tell they aren’t treated the best and aren’t thrilled to be there.
It’s only fair that this is the first restaurant I review in Halifax having been here on so many occasions in my short stay in the city so far. Jeans does justice to the north americanized Chinese food that it serves here and it does so at a decent price which makes it a great option for students like me. It has a wide menu with a range of great dishes- ginger beef, sweet and sour chicken and black pepper beef being some of my go to choices so far. The combos and lunch specials they have serve as two meals for most people but I ain’t most people. Great place to grab a quick, large meal or takeout. Not the fanciest decor or ambience, but that isn’t what people come here for either!

In the past, I have always been dedicated to Jeans for nice dinners in with my family but this time the order got mixed up with a dish and they would not accept the change that was requested. Very disappointed by the services. Trying to find a new place.
