Lakeside grill. Not much to look at but they have a small menu and make it count. We ordered the 1 lb of mussels and it was spectacular.y delicious. My first time having fresh mussels. I’m hooked . The scallops were pretty good too and the pork chop with this awesome bacon marmalade…….got to find me some of that. The ales were great tasting too. The service was good.
Great all around. The service was excellent. Food was great and ambiance. There was a group of 11 of us. As we are all great friends we were able to taste and sample many of the different meals. Not one bad bite. Definitely will go again.

I had ordered a Caesar salad to start and the half chicken as my meal. After waiting 30 minutes, my meal came out. My salad never came!!! The waitress apologized and asked if I still wanted my salad which I refused. The chicken tasted okay, would have been much better had it actually been warm. I informed my waitress that my chicken was cold and she apologized. I barely ate anything at this place and was still handed a $20 something bill at the end. I paid it and went to Subway next door.
Lakeside Dining at the Lakeside Grill. Every time I am in Halifax I stay at the Chocolate Lake Hotel and have the privilege of dining at the Lakeside Grill. I love this restaurant. Great people, great menu, great parking and GREAT view. I can’t wait for Summer to visit again and look out over the azure waters while chomping into a fab burger or a mouthwatering steak. Chef Kevin Lace knows how to rock your tastebuds! See you soon!
Lakeside Grill. Had dinner there a few times lately and each dish has been excellent. Quality ingredients and preparation. The ravioli was delicious. Both roasted chicken dishes. I come from a coastal town with lots of fish trucks etc…The battered fish at this place is totally out of this world. Can’t wait to have it again.
