Very impressed. Great service and great food. We ordered 2 sushi rolls ( a monster roll and a dragon roll) and sashimi. We got a complimentary slice of sashimi which were all sliced very thick. We also got 2 complimentary rolls! The rolls we ordered were delicious and huge. The entire meal was inexpensive and We also got a 10% discount on our bill!!!!
Best sushi in Halifax!! Very generous portions and very, very good. Small restaurant – but fast service for takeout. I’ve only had take out from here and it was delicious.
Awful. I’ve eaten at at many sushi restaurants in my life and this was easily the most disgusting sushi I have ever had. I should’ve sent the sashimi back but I didnt. The shrimp tasted old like dirt, the scallop smelled very fishy, and the white fish sashimi was flavourless and soggy. This is the first time my stomach has hurt after sushi. The service was in attentive too. AVOID THIS PLACE
Best Sushi in Halifax. My boyfriend and I eat here all the time. We have tried lots of different places around Halifax but always come back to Wasabi house. The price is amazing and they always give you a couple free rolls. We always leave in a ‘sushi coma’! I normally spend only $20 and that feeds me plus allows me to take some home to snack on later in the evening. Our go-to restaurant for sure! I love the Crystal Maki and my boyfriend always gets Heavens Sake, thought we try to test out every roll. Recently I tried the Paris Roll and it was amazing! The fish is amazing quality, better tasting than any I’ve had around the city. If you haven’t tried Wasabi House yet, don’t hesitate! It’s the best!
Looks can be decieving. Still relatively new to town, read some reviews so decide to give it a go. First impression the floors are very dirty, staff polite so ok. Tea so hot i could not hold the cup at first, my bad since i did not let it steep long enough. Good quality loose leaf tea. I decide only order 3 items just in case. Good thing too because when the food came OMG the portions!!! Salmon sashimi almost an inch thick! Never had such big pieces and so fresh and tasty. Sushi pizza is normally an appy, this was the size of a dinner plate and garnished to death and perfection. And just when i couldn’t take anymore yummy goodness…BAM! They hit me with the complimentary rolls.Thank the gods they let me take most of it home, all that for 30$. Had to call for a cab to take me to the bus stop i was so full. Discounts for cash orders and a happy hour from 9 til 11. These guys do it right! Well done!
My go-to Sushi Resto. Incredible service, always busy yet prompt with orders. If there is a line up at happy hour – wait, it’s worth it!!
