Have visited a number of times to both the Dartmouth locations. Stopped in this afternoon for a quick snack of 2 tacos. Enjoyed 2 chicken taco duos (soft and hard shell). Habaneros have a good selection of toppings and sour cream sauces. Chicken is the way to go, as I have had both the beef and pork, which aren’t great (comparing to tacos meats from other Taco joints I have visited). Service is good, nice and quick. For the options for Mexican/Mexican fusion food in HRM this is the best option.
It was one of my favorite go to weekly rotation spots, but now that the braised beef option is gone… I’m less likely to visit. Still great, just a little lower on my list.

DELICIOUS!. I was very excited to try Habeneros on Windmill Rd. today. I wasn’t quite sure what I wanted to try so I went with the Burrito bowl (chicken with Mexican rice and beans)…. WOW! The ingredients were fresh, the flavor was amazing and the service was fast and friendly! Definitely returning when I can!
Great!. Good food. Not as spectacularly life-altering as I’d hoped, but really good. My only concerns are that the value is a little lacking. My meal was over $10 and it wasn’t incredibly filling. For the price of a footlong and a pop at Subway, I expected a bit more than three tacos and a can, but that’s minor. I still think it’s a good place and will go there when I can.
