Excellent Schnitzel. I recommend the schnitzel, it’s always excellent. Don’t understand the bad reviews about the service, they’ve always been prompt and very friendly with us!
Fantastic Food. I was extremely surprised to see that this restaurant received some bad reviews. I’ve been to Sauter’s Inn with my family on several occasions and it’s been great every single time. They have a fine selection of German beers on tap and by the bottle. What really sets this restaurant apart is their Sauerkraut! I’ve been to Germany and I’ve tried all lots of different types of sauerkraut and the stuff they serve at Sauter’s is definitely the best I’ve ever had in North America. The Schnitzel and Cordon Bleu are excellent and so is the roast pork. You gotta try this place!
Terrible service and food. I have frequenty been to this restaurant but haven’t in a while so we decided to go today with the family. After waiting over an hour….no joke…for our food, it came undercooked. The elderly gentlemen at the table sent his back!! The food flavor was horrible as well. I will never return ot recommend this restaurant to anyone. The owner didn’t seem to even care after we complained.
We went there for breakfast. Food was greasy. My husband’s steak was tough despite being cooked medium rare-an indication of an inferior cut of meat. My Spanish omelette was basically an egg crepe with a whole lot of canned salsa which was overpowering everything. Our waitress made it feel like she did not want to be there. My husband was particularly upset about having to ask for and wait for his coffee. I wouldn’t give them a chance for lunch or dinner.
It is good, but not as good when the original Owner was there. I recommend the schnitzel and sausages
